Cibi Sana da Sé

From Europe to America, via Asia, without leaving Braga

In the heart of Braga, between the Arco da Porta Nova and the Cathedral, we find an elegant place that invites us to relax: Cibi Sana da Sé.

The first Cibi Sana opened in São Paulo and this new place in the City of Archbishops carries on its shoulders this same heritage, since traditional international flavors and Portuguese cuisine are perfectly harmonized here.

João Manoel de Carvalho Moreno is the Chef and mentor of the project, passionate about the cuisine and the flavors of the world. At Cibi Sana da Sé we find highly tasty proposals, in which the quality of each ingredient is always privileged - the team works daily to ensure that all ingredients are fresh, high-class and biological when possible, always trying to focus on local producers. After all, Cibi Sana means just that: meals that are good to us!

In a venue where we're always welcomed with a huge smile, there are sensory experiences to discover in each visit. The elegant and exquisite place combines perfectly with the amazing dishes that stand out for the aromas, textures and flavors. To side any dish - from the most typical European cuisine to the dish with the biggest South-American or Asian inspiration - Cibi Sana da Sé presents a suited wine cellar, 100 % Portuguese, which serves as a guarantee that your moments will be well watered.

On our visit, we were gifted with a well-packed couvert (with sausages, sweet potato chips, cheese, olives and herbal butter) that set the tone for a memorable meal. We can't fail to highlight the loin with aligot (cheese and potato cream) or the Danish piece of beef - this last one, sided with farofa and black bean rice and an onion sauce, bringing a little bit of Brazil to Cibi Sana da Sé's menu. To finish with a flourish, we tasted the delicious season fruit pie - you can't miss this delight on your visit. The verdict could only be one: “cool material”.

Cool Tip: Explore the proximity to the historical center and, at the end of your dinner and hang around the bars around the Cathedral. There's no better way to end your day!
